If you don't want to pay 5 gorillion Dollar for Stellaris and wanna play singleplayer then this is digital Crack.
MUST USE TEST VERSION TO PLAY ON NEWER MACHINES! after doing so enjoy! this game is quite similar to stellaris and Masters of orion. The BEST feature in my opinion is the ship building aspect and how its visually represented. super fun game, glad people kept it alive.
I have played for over 500 hundred hours. This game is ♥♥♥♥ dont buy it. Game is buggy and have a ♥♥♥♥ ton of anti player mechanics design to slow you down and ♥♥♥♥ you over. Why do the master fleets only target the player? Why do enemy races suddenly ally themselves to each other when the player is winning? All "random" events just ♥♥♥♥ you over. All "diplomacy" ♥♥♥♥♥ you over. You think your winning? A master fleet spawns on the opposite of your empire and blows up everything causing you to lose money like crazy and your ships abandoning you or joining enemy empires. Ai has no range limit like the player who is limited by fuel. Think your system is safe far from the front lines? Ai suddenly appears with a giant ass fleet ready to ♥♥♥♥ you over. The ai cannot run out of money and can produce huge fleets with no economy. If they are near broke they are gifted 100 gold+ per turn. The ai empires cannot have their planets starved to death like yours can. If you go over the command points cap you lose hundreds of gold per turn. The ai doesnt care about the cp cap because they dont lose money from going over their cap. ♥♥♥♥ this game and ♥♥♥♥ the greedy ass abandonware creator. 4x games…
good replay ability
I tried to play after 10 years this weekend (I had about 13hours in 2016) , but it crashes on start on 2 different PC, so its UNPLAYABLE NOW, dont buy it!!!! Devs need to repair this or STEAM need to remove this from shop
The game had big potential but was never properly finished. The latest version is still a buggy mess. I played it for over 150 hours because I love space strategy games. But there are much much better alternatives, for example: distant words 2.
