A decent enough tower defense. For the price, it can't be beaten

First level extremely fun, but it hasn't had an update for anything past that for a long time. With all the upgrades and stuff, that work should've been put into making levels.

"Champi" is an engaging and quirky tower defense game that stands out with its unique theme of defending a village from mutated mushrooms. As an early access title, it already offers a solid foundation with a variety of towers, enemies, and passives. Players will need to strategically place turrets, upgrade them, and fend off waves of enemies, all while managing resources and progress through the game. The visuals are charming, and the mechanics, while simple, have a lot of depth. The game offers a level of strategy and flexibility, especially with the ability to upgrade towers and unlock new ones after each round. It also features a rewarding progression system where each successful run grants permanent upgrades, giving players a sense of growth and improving performance over time. Champi is a very interesting title, it has much potential, and works fairly well as an early access game. If I had to give some feedback to the developer, 1 The tutorial needs a little work, it's very easy to die on the first level because you don't have a very good idea of what to do. 2 A better way to see what towers and enemies do, as once again is unclear without experimentation, I would recommend a catalog or encyclopedia that shows traits strategy tips, etc. And this would obviously not show towers that have not been unlocked and enemies not yet encountered, and could introduce lore information for world building (optional) 3 Maybe alternate upgrade options for towers? 4 New/ future levels will need to be balanced around the upgrades the player will no doubt have accumulated, but not by simply more enemies and health = harder, but in a way that challenges skill, perhaps by new enemy types and map mechanics. Overall, a fun tower defense title with a lot of potential, and I wish the developers luck in making this the best it can be P.S. don't over-scope
