About Chaos Theory Pirates

Chaos Theory – Pirates is a mini-game where you can collect resources, survive, build and craft items to defend yourself against enemies while you keep your crew happy and on your side.

Survive by gathering resources, finding food and water or grabbing items washed up on the shore!

Build your house from 3 different types of styles to choose from such as Tent, Wooden House and Stone.

Craft a multitude of items and tools of various qualities from Common to Legendary and more!

Trade surplus items with other renowned pirates to earn gold and spend it on more upgrades.

Mange your crew so they stay happy and they don’t mutiny against you, and all while reporting your adventures in the captain’s journal.

Choose from various jobs such as Miner, Blacksmith, Soldier and more to give your crew ways to help you in the upkeep of your small town, especially when it comes to surviving the occasional attacks from the undead that roam the island at night.

As the pirate captain, stranded on an island, it is your responsibility to look after your crew and return them to safety. Survive the harshness of the changing weather as you
experience day and night time in this tropical paradise. Keep the morale of your crew members high so they always stay on your side and lastly, be careful at night as undead soldiers from a long time ago still roam the island hunting for stranded pirates trying to survive their latest adventures.

Everything you say or do to anyone on the island will have an effect on other things in the game. So be a good captain! Help your crew survive, craft, and escape - beware of spooky skeletons. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WH6lJwiJs10

TL;DR: At the moment it is far from being a game that doesn't frustrate you more than it brings joy. Let's face it: It's a tech demo. Not really a game, and far from being playable. Although the setting is promising, there's a long way to go. Features: - item rarity system - levelup system (by working the field) - Job assignments to crew, with what to harvest and not (e. g. only mine stone and iron, not copper and gold) - manual trade system - Building works (but feels like dragging the plans through pudding and the next moment through vacuum and reverse, so quite a fiddly issue) - Fights work, but are in no way difficult - Crewmates may die of starvation or dehydration - interactions with different buildings/members/parts work, but the process is unnecessarily complicated (scroll through menu, press E for a second to select action) - No way to increase your crew as of now Bugs encountered in about 5 hours of gameplay: - Random inventories/storages get emptied or lose items when saving and loading, which may break your game - your mates don't occupy buildings until you restart the game - your gatherers do gather like hell, but don't push their stuff to inventories (which starves…

Nice little game with a lot of potential! If you ever played games were you collect resources and build, you will feel like at home. Loved all the exploration and lack of hand holding that lets you truly experience the life of someone stranded on remote island. This is still an early access game, but a lot of features are there and hopefully they will be further enhanced
