Charm Tale Quest is a puzzle/strategy game in which you have to make chains of colored gems to defeat unusual enemies in prolonged battle. The process is complicated by a moving game board that changes either at every turn or at your discretion.

Charm Tale Quest is yet another of literally hundreds of mobile app Match-3/Bejewelled/Candy Crush ripoff games infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere. This one was published on Steam 8 years ago but seems much older than that... and even as far as shovelware match-3 games go, this one is awful. The $8 pricing for such trashware amounts pretty much to be a scam... no serious or genuine developer would charge so much for such a bad game. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. The game only displays in 4:3 (stretched) aspect ratio. It's possible they developed this using an old CRT they found in a dumpster, or this game has been specifically designed for people gaming on PC's from 1995... either way, this isn't really acceptable in the modern era of PC gaming. The game is a bit dull but ok, last level the boss cheats and makes so many rainbow gems hes not even fun to fight
A very bland and boring match game. NZ$10.29 is absolutely ridiculous for a game of the same quality of a free mobile game.
Very unfair chain-match-3 type of game, that has very little story. It has competetive side against AI - but in last level it's very hard and unfair. "Content" is about 4-5 hours long (I idled some of my time). I couldn't wait to beat this game... wanted to stop :P It has some various bugs, as well, some game-breaking. Graphics are not the best, animations do not stun. Game might lag on some enemy moves. Game's price is definitely not worth it.
A quite decent casual game with happy/cute visuals.I'm not a fan of this kind of games,but for what it's supposed to be,it's good.
It’s a fun game, but wouldn’t buy it at full price. Longer chains give some bonuses. I got it from The Indie Zone Bundle and played it with Steam Play
