I enjoyed it, it was pretty gun but i was shocked i finished the game in like 40 mins. Pretty short game but i guess there isn't a lot of substance.

Very short, but a cute little simulator with an adorably absurdist story. I had one little glitch where an item got stuck behind the register, but otherwise ran very smoothly.

While this game was short, it was quite enjoyable! The art, concept, and gameplay is simple, but that doesn't take away from the fun that this game provides. I love the contrast between the hand drawn 2D characters vs. the cute and simple 3d models of the objects. It's charming. With a game like this, if the art was complicated and more detailed I think it would be a little jarring. The graphics and the game itself match each other quite well. The game play is VERY SIMPLE, I must emphasize that. It reminds me of games people would make when they're first starting game development. It's a free to play point and click game, it's going to be simple. It seems like that's the niche that Open Alpha wants to fill and that's not a bad thing. Though, this game wouldn't be as good if the characters weren't interesting. Obviously, the characters aren't like Baldur's Gate 3 level of interesting, but the game is heavily centred around the characters so they have to be actual characters. I love how much personality is fit into a game this short. The characters all have their little quirks and they grow throughout the 30 minute game. It's okay. It's extremely straightforward with some little quirks and oddities with the customers, but nothing truly engaging to keep my interest. I only completed it because I was pretty bored. Finished it in roughly 30 minutes.
