I wish there was a "it's ok" rating cause that's what I would give it. The Pros Very few bugs and the ones you do experience are not game breaking The gameplay loop is fun, managing the shop and then running around town to gather supplies and talk to people is a tried and true loop that many find enjoyable. There is a clearly defined story and it appears to have a conclusive end (I have not reached the end) The art style is nice. The Cons The characters are awful: Everyone just sucks. Few people have redeeming traits and in most cases are simply there being either miserable and forcing that energy upon you, or being two-faced and simply having to accept that. In most writing you need flawed characters to create conflict, but in this everyone is awful and you are the conflict. I often find myself rooting for everyone to fail including my character and the only reason I continue in the story is to unlock better things for my shop. Speaking of, many features are unlocked way too late into the game. I recently unlocked an online order mechanic which sounds great, but the biggest issue with it is that I simply have too much going on in my shop to ever work on that. Meaning un…1 found this helpful
It’s not a hidden game, this game is so loud and being hyped so much. But honestly, it’s worth the hype! The game is a spin off from boring supermarket management game mix with choices game and voila, Discounty! I also love the last update for people or profit! You can replay the new update for 3X to get a different ending. If you’re a cozy game player, this is a MUST HAVE on your game collection.
i personally really enjoy this game. i like the shop management. i like the graphics. i like the scavenging. i like the quests and unlockables to better your shop. i honestly don't have anything to complain about. maybe i haven't played long enough to experience the frustrations that others have, or maybe I just don't care as much as others and i'm not a harsh critic, but i think discounty is well worth the cost! i'm definitely getting my enjoyment out of it!
5/5 !! I'm not a big fan of reading in game so the storyline doesn't really affect me usually, but i absolutely love the storyline ! The characters are endearring and i love the suppermarket kinda vibe its 100% worth it !

Before the final chapter update, everything was great and I already got 100% of the achievements. I'm glad to see new content, but along with it, my game has crashed 3 times. The game can't be saved until the end of the day, which means I have to redo everything. You should know how annoying this is. Can't recommend this game until this bug is FIXED.
