About CheckMaze

Checkmaze is a simple game that's based on actual chess scenarios and uses original chess pieces. With more than 50 levels of puzzles that rely exclusively on classical chess pieces, there's plenty to keep you challenged, especially if you're a fan of classic old chess.

But that's not all Checkmaze has to offer. Checkmaze becomes even more complex, surprising, and enjoyable as new pieces are added. We have new pieces like traps, portals, and wizards with different abilities and behaviors that add an exciting twist to the game.

New pieces and mechanics are being added.
3 new chess pieces and minimum 18 level for each of them.
4 great levels.
Moving pieces were added. Now mazes are changing as you play.

#### How to Play ####

✦ AI summary

Players appreciate the core chess puzzle concept but report significant frustration with unclear win conditions, bugs that prevent progression even after seemingly completing objectives, and confusing mechanics like bishops unable to reach certain squares due to pieces not moving as expected. The game suffers from a poor interface and requires excessive trial-and-error to discover solutions, making the experience feel incomplete or poorly designed rather than intentionally challenging.

bad interface, bugs and just some random conditions that you cannot expect. You just need to die a lot of times before finding correct solution

I like the game itself, but unfortunately, I think that it's either bugged or incomplete. So, the goal of this game is basically the same as traditional chess; checkmate the king. The only difference is that your opponent's pieces don't move (unless you're within attack range) and you have infinite moves. The problem is that there are some boards, where even if you manage to get the king, it won't advance to the next puzzle. Now, I know what you're going to say; "Maybe you have to take out every other piece on the board". That's a valid response, but, I've done that, no change. Also, tell me how your white bishop (your only piece) is going to attack another piece on a black square if the game doesn't move its pieces at all.
