About Chess Valley 2

As chess valley had a good acceptance i decided to continue the game and create chess valey 2

The objective of the game is simple, the player must try to cross the board by deflecting the enemy pieces to join his team.

In this game the player will find 50 new stages that now have twice the size of the original board and to be able to use a little more strategy the player can mark the path on the board where you should or should not go.

It's a new experience, I believe whoever played the first game will enjoy chess valley 2.

The controls are simple and easy, basically the player control the king pressing WASD, the player also change the cam pressing C on keyboard and with the left mouse click mark the squares where you should or should not go.

Chess Valley 2, developed and published by Artur Rezende, is a puzzle game that reimagines the classic game of chess through a labyrinthine lens. Released on June 22, 2021, it serves as a sequel to the original Chess Valley, expanding upon its predecessor's concept by introducing larger boards and additional strategic elements. The game's premise is simple yet engaging: players control a king navigating a board filled with enemy pieces, aiming to reach the opposite side to join his army. The gameplay in Chess Valley 2 is centered around maneuvering the king across a grid-like board, avoiding enemy pieces and utilizing strategic planning to mark safe paths. The introduction of larger boards—double the size of the original—adds complexity and depth to the puzzles. A notable feature is the ability to mark squares on the board, designating areas to avoid or paths to follow, which enhances the strategic aspect of the game. The controls are straightforward, with movement handled via the WASD keys, camera adjustments using the 'C' key, and path marking through left-clicking, making the game accessible to players of all skill levels. Visually, the game adopts a minimalist aesthetic, focu…

Better then Chess Valley 1 as here you can mark squares that are under attack. But why does a chess piece on a pedestal (here - pawn) is a threat to your king? https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3475559728 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3475559708

I mean, it's interesting. I didn't really enjoy it though. I think it's a polish issue.

Levels are longer than first game which is nice. Adds in a new feature which kind of ruins the experience though, where you can mark off all the dangerous spots. Really defeats the point imo. Still, if you're a chess lover enjoy it over lunch. A fun little experience.

Better than the first version of this game. Extended board, ability to mark the board, different view points, ability to move the camera up and down the board prior to moving your piece. Overall pretty good.
