Chessie Chicken

I feel like this game is the most fun way to teach children to play chess. When my daughters are old enough, I know we will have countless hours of fun exploring this game and preparing them for the more complex game of chess. I highly recommend this game for anyone who likes puzzle solving and has an appreciation for chess.

I thought you'd play actual chess but you are just learning how to avoid chess pieces. It made me mad and i can't remember why but i would've rather played actual chess 1/10 Edit: The game may not have been for me but i was very harsh. I didn't think strategically and when it was brought to my attention i was being dumb with it i realized i gave it a harsher review than it deserved. 7/10 from the perspective of people who want to learn how chess pieces move and attack

I like games that understand their appeal comes from having a fun central idea and do not need to pretend they are a massive production. The gameplay is straightforward and easy to learn. I can understand what I am supposed to do fairly quickly, and the controls do not require a huge amount of practice. That makes it suitable for short sessions when I want something casual rather than a game that demands constant concentration. I also like the relaxed pacing.
