[Chilla's Art] Night Delivery Chilla's Art has been putting out these short Japanese horror walking sims for years at this point, so there's a real track record behind a game like this even if the runtime is only 1-2 hours. I hit 2 crashes during my playthrough, though I'm inclined to chalk that up to the game's age at this point rather than anything actively broken, it's from 2021 and it shows a bit in spots. Wearing headphones and playing in the dark, like the game itself recommends, made a noticeable difference in how effective the atmosphere actually was. Exploration is really the whole game here, poking around and paying attention is how you piece together what's actually going on, and there are two distinct endings depending on how thorough you are. It's a short, cheap entry into Chilla's Art's catalog, and if you've played any of their other titles you know roughly what you're signing up for, some jank included. By default, I'm going to say "Yes" when it comes to recommending this dev's games because I support indie games that are as imaginative and experimental as these are, despite whatever flaws are called out in other reviews. This was not my favorite Chilla title so far, but it certainly has its amusing moments and I do like the overall story of delivering packages to a very, very weird apartment complex. I also enjoyed the can collecting a bit too much, and was very sad that I SOMEHOW missed 8 out of like... 32? Anyway - I very much enjoyed the story, but it did not exactly culminate in the same ways that this studio's other titles have, which left me feeling a little unsatisfied at the credits. However, there were so many great moments. I also did not care for the ladder situation at the end of the game. But alas! This was my 4th title by them and I am going to play "Missing Children" next. I like these titles a lot because they treat the gamer as a "smart investigator" and minimize "hand-holding". It does take some work in these titles, but the work "should make sense" given the context; you are usually assigned a job and just have to interact with the associated items. …

It was an Interesting expieriance playing my first Chilla's art game. I recommend it.

It was good for its price. I'm not that much into horror games because of possible heart attacks, but I saw the art behind it. I never knew delivery drivers had to deal with so many creepy people in apartment complexes. Most unrealistic part was the mail person doing favors for random people.
