Chinese Frontiers

I really like this game. It is very relaxing and I like watching buildings come together slowly. However, in its current state I cannot recommend this. As many other reviews say, it is buggy. When I first started the game I had zero bugs, zero screen tears, nothing out of the ordinary. However, once you advance to other parts of the world, about a few hours in, the game immediately breaks with long freezes and audio cutting out. I really wanted to unlock more things and stay in the first non-bug zone and build away, but you have to complete quests in areas that break the game so therefore I cannot even stay in the one part of the map. Unfortunate, and I will change my review once more fixes/updates come about.

This Frickin Game, I have spent the last 10 9 months trying to work out the save bleed over issue, WTF is wrong with the devs, Fix your frickin game.

Relaxed building simulator with detailed and well researched budlings. If you like exploring and building, and very basic hunger and thirst survival game play, but don't want to deal with fighting, then this game is great. there are some bugs still, but nothing game breaking. All i had to do to fix any of the bugs was to jump out of whatever menu I was in and get back in. The only time that did not work and it was a big bug, I simply reloaded an older save. With the game autosaving constantly I didn't lose more than 10 minutes of game play. This is a relaxing building simulation with an interesting historical journey set in ancient China.

If you like exploring and building, and basic survival (hunger and thirst), but don't want to deal with enemies and constant NPC distractions of a more physical nature, this is the game for you. It's Conan Exiles meets Anno. Very cool. Slight bugs still, but nothing game breaking. As complex or as simple as you want it. Highly recommend.
