Tried it again after a few years on a brand new gaming laptop, and it's running at 6fps on medium settings. Ridiculous. Would be cute if it ever worked.
An excellent survival/base building/farming game based on ancient Chinese folklore and Taoist beliefs, much deeper and challenging than it could seem at first glance, but at the same time it's still relaxing, and it's not stressful or too complex. I don't know why but somehow the game reminded me of the first "Okami" game, even if these are two different types of games. I'm happy to hear that the developper will resume updates soon. This game deserves to be better known, and I strongly encourage players who enjoyed it to talk more about this game online, so the developpers can keep working on the game and can hire more staff. They really deserve your support.
keep it up guys
Mapped the game to controller, and it still confuses my wife a bit because obviously the visible prompts are still keyboard. Certain controls are mapped to an unnecessary amount of keys, like the teleport totem being G, when it could literally just be any of the other interaction keys. Besides a casual title in desperate need of controller support for a casual couch audience, this is one of my favorite titles so far, but I haven't played much. The graphical style is amazing, the crafting and combat I like. It has a great balance between cozy and challenge. Better than any other similar title I've played. The game seems very thorough and well done, with no glitches or bugs on my end so far yet. It honestly in my opinion is looking to be a massively overlooked title for the quality. If you like games like DInkum, or Spirit of the Island, even titles like Valheim, etc, this a really cool niche.
