About Chiral

\In Chiral, a sci-fi psychological horror/comedy first person puzzle game, you'll assume the role of a disembodied brain in a jar, paired with a digital AI companion. Together, you'll navigate a labyrinth of mirror, laser, and gravity puzzles that will challenge your spatial reasoning. After a "routine" brain transfer procedure, you find yourself in a jar, but don't worry—you'll still be a valuable asset to the corporation! As you traverse the eerie and captivating levels, you'll encounter mind-bending spatial puzzles and corrupted robotic managers.
Key Features:
 • Spatial Puzzles: Test your intellect with complex mirror, laser, and gravity challenges.
 • Dark Humor: Enjoy a storyline infused with a creepy yet comedic tone.
 • Unique Mechanics: Utilize your ability to cross through mirrors, manipulate objects, alter gravity., and more.
 • Atmospheric World: Immerse yourself in the unsettlingly delightful corporate dystopia with a brutalist foundation sprinkled with some cartoony augmented reality.
Enter Chiral and embrace the madness. Your brain will never be the same again.
If you have no patience to wrestle with janky physics, stay away
Thats the main problem with this game. It makes most item interactions and movement exhausting. Throwing items sends them flying across the entire chamber, wildly spasming in the air and on the floor while doing so. Clipping through walls, platforms etc happened quite a few times. Sometimes I had to wrestle with the jank of the game, to make the setup do what I want it to do, retrying several times. This frankly ruins the fun factor of the game. An another serious issue is that the game throws such a curveball with the prologue, right out of the gate. You are dropped into a pretty huge cublicle office with virtually no guidance or direction. It resembles kind of like an escape room, not a puzzle-chamber game in the vein of Portal like what the rest of the game is (and what most people will expect going in). I am an experienced puzzle player, so I found the way out relatively fast, but this will confuse many players, giving them a frustrating and false first impression about the real core gameplay. This is bad game design imho. [b]If you are having problems with the first section, you will need to do 3 th…

Looks like interesting take on Portal, but... complete lack of directions - what to do, how it work, etc. Failed to leave first location, there was some clippy that asked to grab and drop an object and then... he simply vanished. And that's it, 30 minutes of trying things at random - but no way to understand the mechanic behind all of this //
Creepy weird story with clever puzzles
The good:

Puzzles (Most of the puzzles are very clever and leave you satisfied once solved)
Story (Approximately 5-6 hours long. There isn't a whole lot of dialogue which is a huge plus for me considering how annoying character writing has become lately. Most of the story is told through employee logs you collect throughout the game. The game starts out weird and confusing but the logs and environments tie everything together if you pay close attention. Glad nothing was spoiled in the trailer.)
Music (Creepy, eerie, haunting, and goofy music, it's great. The OST is free if you don't believe me)
The not-so-good:

Physics (Videogame physics have never been perfect and this is no exception)
Some bugs (The game is constantly being updated so this could just be early launch stuff. Was still able to complete the game.)
