✦ AI summary

Players appreciate the Portal-like puzzle mechanics and time-manipulation concept, with some finding the free game worthwhile despite its brevity. However, common complaints center on disorienting camera controls, janky and unpolished execution, poor puzzle and level design, occasional progress-killing bugs, and an overall sense that the game lacks the polish and creativity of its inspirations.

"Chrono Recorder" is a bit like Q.U.B.E. from Temu (which is a problem because Q.U.B.E. already feels like it was from Temu), but also with a stopwatch. What do you do in the game? This is another first person adventure/Portal/Q.U.B.E. wannabe (I think from Korea). You're in a maze, you have a stopwatch and a camera, you can stop or slow down time which you need to do to negotiate your way through the level. I think, worst of all, the puzzle and level design is really poor, it's just not to the same standard as more professionally developed first person puzzlers. The graphics aren't great, minimalist low poly stuff with placeholder textures... it's a failure. That's understandably a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must …

Good game, a bit short but it's free so it's not a big problem, the mechanics and puzzles were interesting, i'm curious to see what the dev plan to do next 👍

This game gives me portal vibes. Good game if you're into these types of games.
