This game is such a great value, it's technically like 2 1/2 games in one as the two games can connect with each other at points, but i honestly haven't gotten that far in either, the first game (Citizens of Earth) is very much a classic rpg in a pokemon like stye, however instead of collecting monsters to battle other monsters, you are the vice president, collecting, well, about any type of professional you can to fight, just about anything you can imagine, it reminds me a lot of earthbound actually. It's very funny and the animation is beautiful. In Citizens of space, you play as Earth's newest Intergalactic ambassador, the combat is a bit different in this game, relying on more timing based button presses, which i'm not as big a fan of, but outside of the combat, the game is very similar and i do love them both. My biggest complaint is the map layout for missions. sometimes it is very hard to figure out where to go, and with random fights lurking all over every area of the map it can be annoying respawning enemies that you have already defeated, but i suppose that is a common element of most classic style rpg games.

I remember playing Citizens of Earth's demo on my 3DS so I decided to come back to see if I would of loved playing it when I was young. I was correct actually because playing Citizens of Earth was such a fun time and its great that I can buy it and the sequel to the game as well on Steam! I never played the sequel though so after I finished Citizens of Earth I wanted to see how the sequel, Citizens of Space, was and if it had the same charm as the first game. What I found was a game that had the story of the first but had its game-play drastically changed. Now I was totally fine with the Earthbound game-play from the first game and seeing the new game-play for the second made me intrigued but the combat was just bad. Combat is for fighting, not to play mini-games inside the combat which the second game does and I just don't like it. I just actually liked the old combat from the first game which is generic RPG game-play you would see in most RPG games. I really just wished they stuck with the old game-play and gave it a new spruce since it was the sequel. But I still did have a good time playing Citizens of Earth. Definitely play that game if your into Earthbound game-play like I a…

Pretty fun game. -quick time events to increase damage during attacks are unreliable. -DESPERATELY NEEDS NEW GAME PLUS!!!!! -after the time it takes to max out every character NG+ should obviously be in this game. -No way to delete save slots individually. you have to delete ALL save data to free up slots if you have saved in them.

Listen, I didn't enjoy this. Getting an achievement caused the game to exit out and required me to go back to the game to continue playing. If you're gonna get this game, then wait for a sale. Also that one minigame in Citizens of Space with the wavelengths is genuinely awful, so if you're a completionist then just hold off on it.
