About Cleaning House
Something is wrong with the hotel.Once an ordinary building, it has become warped by a supernatural force, cut off from the rest of the world. Its halls stretch far beyond what should be possible, its rooms reshape themselves around the will of something dangerous. Those who enter are trapped inside, forced to confront both the creatures that stalk the corridors and the memories that refuse to stay buried. You play as Meursault, a former sailor turned hotel cleaner, now caught in the heart of this twisted space. Armed with an ever-changing arsenal and fleeting enhancements, you must survive intense first-person combat while navigating procedurally generated rooms that shift with every attempt. Each run offers new weapons, new buffs, and new challenges.Combat is fast and tactical, built around differing weapon types and upgrades that allow you to shape powerful builds ... or fail spectacularly. Between encounters, strange figures linger within the hotel, offering upgrades, insight, or unanswered questions. The deeper you descend, the more hostile the environment becomes, and the more the hotel reveals its true nature.Death is not the end. With every attempt, you push further into the unknown, uncover fragments of the hotel’s origin, and inch closer to the truth behind the force feeding on fear.

✦ AI summary
Players praise the game's engaging concept, enjoyable gameplay mechanics, and excellent soundtrack that creates an immersive fast-paced atmosphere. However, the experience is significantly hampered by frequent technical issues including crashes, lag, texture loading problems, and soft locks that make it difficult to progress, alongside complaints about repetitive level design and the harsh roguelite mechanic that sends you back to the start with no progress when dying to the boss.
Good rougelite, needs more fleshing out!!
The idea behind the game is good, and it's genuinely fun to play. The soundtrack is also excellent—it fits the gameplay perfectly and creates a fast-paced, action-filled atmosphere that keeps you engaged. However, after a while it starts to feel repetitive. Most of the rooms look very similar, and the monsters don't have much variety either. Since you have to die and restart from scratch multiple times, each new run ends up feeling almost the same as the previous one. Eventually you reach a different enemy—the boss—and you naturally expect that defeating it will mark the end of the game, or at least a major milestone. Instead, if you die during that fight, you're sent all the way back to the beginning with no equipment or progress at all. I understand that's part of the roguelite design, but in this case it felt more frustrating than rewarding, and it completely killed my motivation to start over again. Some improvements that could make the game much more enjoyable would be: More interaction with any other people staying in the hotel A greater variety of monsters, even if it's only different appearances More unique room layouts instead of similar-looking floors A wider variety of i…
Good game to edge hard.
It is unplayable for me. Too much lag and keep crashing. My computer is not the cream of the top, but I can play the Arkham Trilogy here, so I guess it is not my settings the problem. I really hope they optimize it soon, I'm looking forward to play it.
I really like the concept and the gameplay is simple but enjoyable. The game is so buggy though. Textures not loading. soft locked in a room after clearing and no way to progress. had to close through task manager 3 times. freezes on floor 2 the same door every time. I hope it gets fixed and improved upon. For now i cannot recommend.
When are they adding John Cleaning to fortnite, I enjoyed when he was like "Wow I better be cleaning house" and then he cleaned all over the place. Pretty good.
