[b]Disclaimer:[/b] I am a graduated IT Specialist Technician and have a background in programming, with ongoing formation in C#, precisely the language this game tries to teach the player. I received the game for free as a joke-gift from a friend, and decided to give it a try to see if I can recommend this game to anyone interested in learning C# amongst my friends. I also have some experience in dedicated teaching regarding my field to absolute newcomers, so I know one thing or two about knowledge synthetization and elaborating clear explanations or concept elucidation. [b]I will treat this game both as a game, and a learning experience, since that’s what it aspired to be.[/b] [h1]The idea:[/h1] The game tries to teach the player the basic concepts of programming and C#. This is quite a good idea which I would definitely love to see executed: a game that is not just for recreation, but also knowledge acquisition. [h1]The ‘game’ side:[/h1] This feels like a badly written e-book disguised as a boring game. Not much for the “game” concept behind it. It is not entertaining nor fun to read. The player must read some text introducing a concept, then receive a task for which to writ…

I think Coding Learn has a lot of potential, but there are a few issues that hold it back. Most hints and examples are in Russian, which makes it tough for non-Russian speakers to grasp the concepts. Plus, not being able to copy and paste text in the game makes it even harder to learn. It would be awesome to have an AI voice read the chat, too! Sometimes, it’s hard to tell if you’re reading about the storyline—which isn't very useful—or actually learning something valuable.

The author took tasks from CodeWars, wrapped them up, and made a game in C# where he 'teaches' C#. Impressive. Now all that’s left is for someone to actually care about C#.

I just played the demo version because I wasnt shure about the Game. After playing it for one and a half Level the input wasnt accepted even if it was the right thing. The Idea is realy good because in my opinion more people should lern how to code and the best way to learn is to have fun. Anyways, have Fun!
