Really fun game, Glad i found it. You have nothing to lose except maybe a few hours lol. Not sure how to get half the achievements or how to get to a few secret places though.2 found this helpful

"Collection Quest" is kind of like an old school classic RPG like Ultima, but with the RPG components yanked out. Is this a terrible idea? Absolutely, yes it is. What do you do in the game? Move around on an expansive 2D RPG grid (with no RPG), click through badly written dialogue (if they could write properly, they'd be published authors, instead, $100 on Steam Direct), and collect a bunch of cards and stuff... this slowly reveals a crappy story nobody was really that interested in. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. This game is fairly dated at 6 years old... and even back then it looked old and busted compared to contemporary, professionally made 3D games of the same period. It looked bad then, it looks worse now. Resolution …1 found this helpful
1 found this helpful
