Coloring Book

"Coloring Book" is not a game. Games contain meaningful gamelike interaction and game loops, which are absent in this software. Instead of being a game, "Coloring Book" is a software application that presents a simple colouring book application... so uh... this is just MS-Paint but with all the tools removed except for the "Fill" tool. Would you, honestly, describe MS-Paint to someone as a video game? No? I rest my case. Usually when this kind of crap gets dumped on Steam pretending to be a game, it's quickly followed up with ludicrously priced DLC packages with more "content", usually line art ripped off the internet, or more commonly, AI slop. That hasn't happened here... yet. It's only a matter of time. For those unfamiliar with what actually makes something a game, a "game loop" describes the interaction and feedback a gamer has when playing a game. Tetris, for example, has a game loop where a random block appears, the gamer interacts with the block to position it, and then the game decides if that finishes a row or not, increases the players score if any rows were completed, then gives the gamer another block to position. Great little game, my kids love it! Some features I want for Photoshop now 🙂

This is a very cute and fun colouring in game, where you colour in pictures of animals, dinosaurs, outer space, food and drink. It's aimed at kids, but adults can play it too. There's a small range of colours, but the colours are bright and attractive, and there's different patterns to choose from which make the pictures much prettier. You can colour in the pictures in as many different ways as you want and save your progress. This game is a good way to relax and unwind, or indulge in creativity.
