"Convenience Store" is a business simulation game based on a convenient store.
The original version was released in 2005 and re-launched on Steam in 2019.
The game engine from the Bakery is used on the body, but more game content is added to the convenience store.

Here are a few problems with the game: The story of customers are quite random and does not affect the game at all. There are not much options when setting up the stores since you cannot rotate the freezer, frigs, etc. You basically just setup and wait for customers to come and go without pressing any buttons Starting salary must be 25, 000 per month but its very difficult to have gross profit higher than 25k for your first month. In short, you have to setup the store once or twice, and then let the 'game' runs for hours with barely any interaction with the 'game'. Nothing much to do.8 found this helpful
One of the best shop simulations I ever played. Can't believe this game is such an underdog here on Steam. The game comes in English and 2 Chinese flavors. Some wording in the English translation is a bit cheesy, but the good news - all game text is in text files and you can just edit them easily if you feel like it, so I already improved the English version a bit. The simulation is pretty smooth and straight forward, so even if you don't feel like doing the tutorial or reading the manual it's easy to get into. I really enjoy playing this and luckily it's one of these titles that you can keep running while you do the laundry or cleaning and the shop still advances a bit.
