The art style, music, and sound effects used are wonderful and added to the overall atmosphere of the game. I liked the usage of the gymnasium! The title plays like a typical visual novel so a lot of reading is required. I recommend playing through the Corpse Party series before starting this spinoff. I experienced no bugs while playing. It took me ~13 hours to complete the title with all achievements. There aren’t cards but there are Steam Point Shop items available. It’s Sachiko’s birthday party, and you’re invited to enjoy some (deadly) festivities with all your favorite characters from the previous Corpse Party games, along with a few new faces. It’s far more lighthearted than most entries in the series, but no less enjoyable. It’s all meant to be fun anyway—as the opening scenario says—and that’s the best way to approach this one.

Great game for Corpse Party CHARACTER enjoyers ♡ So first of all, this is solely a VN, not like in Book of Shadows where you can still walk around and inspect things. It's a mostly funny, lighthearted comedy with great Corpse Party moments (≧▽≦) The character cast in this one is big, and it even introduces some new characters that appear in the sequel, Blood Drive. For me, most of the chapters were a great read, and they have some funny endings :) I'm so happy to see some of my favorite characters not in pain and just running around (✿◕‿◕) Now for some of the cons that could make some people hesitate to buy this ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ Some scenes are weirdly uncomfortable, like over-sexualized scenes and some weird stuff that's said. So I had to just read one chapter fast because I really didn't wanna play it… (´•̥ ω •̥`) That being said, the voice acting and CGs are really nice again in this game, and the interviews are also interesting(＾ω＾)

If you're a fan of the series and made it through Book of Shadows, you're going to really enjoy this entry! Gone are the rules of sticking to the hard and fast lore of Heavenly Host, the writers have had complete freedom to play around with all of your favourite characters and throw them in all manners of hilarious and amusing situations. Yes this game is stuffed with fan service, and yes - some scenarios can drag on a bit longer than they need, but overall this entry is far more worth it than it appears as just some comedic spin off. Just like Book of Shadows, it's presented in a visual novel style format, but it's makes some improvements with autosaving at every point you're given an option. This makes reloading to go for different options (and therefore different endings) much more convenient.
