About Corpse Party: Blood Drive
While some members of Kisaragi Academy's class 2-9 returned from their trip to the hellish, otherworldly elementary school known as Heavenly Host, many did not, and the survivors struggle on a daily basis to preserve the memories of those who were unfortunate enough to perish within its halls.
There is one ray of hope, however: an ancient tome known as the Book of Shadows. Class president Ayumi Shinozaki attempted to make use of its magic to resurrect her deceased friends once before, but only compounded the tragedy in the process. And now the book has been lost.
Or has it? When a spiritual photograph turns up, suggesting the Book of Shadows may now reside in the tattered remains of Heavenly Host, Ayumi becomes obsessed with finding it so she can make one last attempt to set things right.
What follows is nothing short of a nightmare.

8/10 Corpse Party: Blood Drive is a horror visual novel RPG and the final installment of the Corpse Party series. Well written, horrifying, and gratifying but has frustrating gameplay issues. Corpse Party: Blood Drive is a horror visual novel that officially ends the Corpse Party series in a way befitting of a masterpiece. I highly recommend finishing Corpse Party and Corpse Party: Book Of Shadows before starting this game because it will fall flat without the context. From start to finish I was hooked into the universe of these students struggling to escape Heavenly Host Elementary school after unwittingly participating in a ritual resulting in nightmare fuel. Genuinely terrifying and extremely well written, the franchise never fails to amaze me. The gameplay felt intuitive. The art style, music, and sound choices are great. It feels like they really stepped up to the plate with this title. I experienced no bugs while playing. It took me around ~22 hours to finish the game with all achievements. No cards but Steam Points Shop items are available. Although the story itself was great, the actual gameplay ended up being very frustrating. Love it!! Great for any corpse party fan! It gets crazy but kept me interested and invested. As someone who loves the OG Corpse Party, it is SUPER cool to get to see the school in 3D and walk around in it.1 found this helpful

Corpse Party: Blood Drive serves as a dark, emotionally charged conclusion to the Heavenly Host saga, and it approaches its finale with a sense of melancholy and desperation that permeates nearly every moment. Picking up after the catastrophic events of the earlier entries, the story follows Ayumi Shinozaki and the remaining survivors as they attempt to grapple with the unbearable weight of guilt, trauma, and lingering supernatural influence. Their desire to reverse the irreversible becomes the driving force that pulls them back into the nightmare they barely escaped from. Blood Drive is at its strongest when it leans into this atmosphere of relentless dread: the voices of the lost echo in the silence, objects whisper of tragedies long forgotten, and every corridor feels tainted by unfinished business. The game wants to make the player feel the characters’ emotional exhaustion, and in that respect, it succeeds more often than not. The shift to a full 3D presentation is one of Blood Drive’s boldest and most controversial decisions.
