Experience classic 90s FPS action with procedurally varied gameplay, atmospheric soundtrack, and multiplayer mayhem across the complete CD-ROM campaign.

Alien life has been discovered...and they’re angry.

A team of scientists experimenting with a small, metallic object brought back from Mars used it to open a gateway linking our world with another deep within the top-secret research lab known as Corridor 7. The thrill of discovery was short lived when hostile alien creatures began pouring out of the gateway and into the facility. Now it’s up to you, a lone Special Forces agent, to enter Corridor 7, eradicate the alien invaders, and close the gateway before the invasion takes hold!

This terrifying sci-fi first-person shooter from Capstone Software has you venturing deep into the dark and twisting test chambers of Corridor 7 to combat a hostile takeover of Earth. Hideous monsters from another world have scattered throughout the facility. Good thing you’re fully loaded and prepared to take them on. It’s time to give these alien beasts a killer welcome party they won’t soon forget!

  • Eradicate the marauding alien invaders with an arsenal of nine devastating weapons.
  • Use your infrared visor to spot traps, or track your enemy in the dark with night vision.
  • Can’t get enough? Take on the Presidential Level, which is different each time you play!
  • Crank up the volume and get lost in the atmospheric soundtrack.

LAN and online multiplayer modes are included but – due to the age of this title – not officially supported in this release.

It's an odd piece of gaming history that's worth playing if you like retro FPS games. The overall plot to the game is very interesting, as it's about an artifact from space that transforms an Area 51-type government base into a labyrinth infested with aliens. The goal is simple: kill all the aliens and move onto the next floor. And yet, oddly, without a guide onhand this game is virtually unplayable. The Bradygames guide is in black and white and very hard to read but basically necessary to finish the game because many of the secrets aren't optional. At the higher levels this game is hard, unforgiving and requires serious patience. Fortunately, the lower levels of play let anyone jump in. "Corporal" difficulty is basically casual mode. Just kill a few aliens and move to the next floor. "Lietenant" is probably the best difficulty for most players. You have to kill 75% of the aliens on each floor to progress. "Captain" difficulty is much harder, as now you have to kill 100% of the aliens and there are a lot more of them. Plus, you have to find the map to see where all of the aliens are and it's quite often hidden far off in a random area of the level. "Major" difficulty is just in…

This game is essentially Operation Body Count, but with a different coat of paint and only slightly better. Kill enough aliens to take an elevator to the next floor, repeat. The ammo economy is really weird, because in early levels there's plenty and in later maps you have to hump every wall or use the laser pistol. Many seem to have a soft spot for the game because of nostalgia, but it's not great. Instead of this poor man's Wolf3d I'd recommend playing Witchaven games instead. Because they're both such amazing disasterpieces with more character than this.

Corridor 7: Alien Invasion, originally developed by Capstone Software and later re-released on Steam by Ziggurat Interactive, is a relic of early 1990s first-person shooter design that reflects both the ambition and the technical limitations of its era. Built on a modified Wolfenstein 3D engine, the game places players in the role of a Special Forces operative sent into a secret research facility overrun by hostile alien forces. The premise is straightforward science fiction: a mysterious artifact retrieved from Mars has triggered an extraterrestrial invasion, and it’s up to you to descend through increasingly dangerous levels of the complex to contain the threat. While the narrative framework is simple, it provides enough context to drive the action forward through its maze-like corridors. Gameplay is structured around floor-by-floor progression within the facility. Each level functions as a self-contained arena where players must eliminate enemies before unlocking access to the next area. This “clear the floor” requirement distinguishes Corridor 7 from some of its contemporaries, forcing players to thoroughly explore and engage with each map rather than sprinting toward an exit.…

A diamond in the rough 3d shooter from the haydays of 3d shooters. It's more along the lines of Blake Stone than Doom ( Which I like). There are ammo and health vending machines for you to use and a nice variety of weapons to blast the baddies with. You also get a visor that has infared and nightvision to see better in the dark with and also to help fight enemies who can cloak. The enemy AI is decent and It's pretty gory for an old game and the sound and weird visuals give this game a nice 90's atmosphere. You should consider getting it if you like old 3d shooters or are interested in gaming history. It's pretty good for it's time.

Take me back to the eighties for some good old nostalgic game play and this game has it all.
