I had a lot of fun with this game, I found the art to be very stylish while also very easy to read, I never lost track of which ship was mine, and in a chaotic game like this that has to be commended. However, I did find the pacing of the difficulty to be very strange, and the rate at which I was awarded credits in a run borderline broke the economy of the game. Despite those criticisms though, I really did enjoy this. FULL VIDEO - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cT_m5fkdpiI

A fairly good cursor-control game, upgrades aren't that crazy but they allow for some powerful builds and i like the option for no meta-progression pure roguelike leisure experience to your liking

+Skill plays a major role +Player choice -...but not enough player choice that feels meaningful -Somewhat poor UX/UI; e.g. forced back arrow from "sell" -Feels boring to play; upgrades just feel "meh" I played a single run on the shield ship, cleared it and it just felt like a waste of 15 minutes. I didn't feel good about anything. I didn't feel like playing again. = Neutral review, but since I wouldn't recommend this game for myself, I wouldn't recommend it for you either.

Overall great game, and absolutely worth its small price point. Pros/Cons below. ++ Combat is really fun ++ Every ship plays really differently (some more fun or strong than others, try Blades) + Good sound design makes it pretty clear what's happening while you play + Creative and interesting enemies / Really hard, but there exist options that keep it easy if you wish - Menu is not clear that you need to hold left click to level up - Default settings (without modifiers) are sort of boring, with you just fighting one type of ship for some waves (+ You can easily change this by paying a very small amount for a modifier) - The roguelite features seem a little forced. They don't add anything to the game imo. (+ The game offers a true roguelike mode, so you don't actually need to play roguelite mode) As you can see, most cons are minor or completely mitigated by the game offering you options.

no real sense of progression with all the ships being available at the start, visual clarity is poor with everything having the same colour scheme and the ship keeps randomly teleporting
