**I couldn’t decide on whether or not to write a quick review (so I don’t scare away someone with a short attention span) or get into my whole life story like I usually do, and explain a few things… so I’ll do both!•• *First the quickness* +Positives+Amazing game that feels like an 80’s arcade vector graphics game I missed out on. An Absolute Gem!!! -Negatives- (or is it?) the on screen tutorial doesn’t do a good job explaining anything (but it also doesn’t interrupt the gameplay… maybe it’s not such a bad thing after all) 👍👍 *Adding to the above * I guess I don’t really need to say too much more, but I just wanted to add a few details. I have a lot of games, most of them I don’t remember if I bought them, or if they were free (or really how I acquired them at all I should say) because I spend a lot of time looking for the next big thing after I get the current one I’m looking for (I suppose it’s just part of the sickness that comes with hoarding), so I had no idea this was a free game as I was playing it. Believe it or not, that plays a big part in how good you think something is, but I was loving it before I knew, so take that into account. With “survivor” in the title, I …4 found this helpful
"Cosmic Survivor" is a very poorly made made minimalist/pixel ripoff of Asteroids/SpaceWar!, only so much worse despite being many decades more recent. Did Steam really need another SpaceWar! ripoff? Nope, and the SteamDB player counts confirm this... gamers did not like this at all. They nothinged it. This features really godawful, lazy minimalist/retro/pixel "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks bad because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and t…2 found this helpful
great little gem worth a play. With a lil balancing & more in way of ships & content backgrounds etc it'll be worth a few quid/dollars2 found this helpful

I prefer the original style of asteroids over this. It wasn't fun or interesting.1 found this helpful
