About CoWorker

Your job is to produce grenades and mines, give them to the NPC coworker, who puts it in a box, and then you have to sell it by dropping it down the hatch.
From the money you can upgrade your equipment.
  • Turret speed
  • Ammo capacity and refill speed
  • batteries capacity and charge speed
  • flamethrower...

You need to set up automated turrets to protect you from the zombies so you can keep working.
Turrets need battery and ammo. They don't work if they are knocked over.
Battery chargers and the ammo box refiller are on the right side.
If the turrets are not enough, feel free to use the flamethrower but keep in mind, that it can overheat.
There are few automated "cannons" which launch anything you can put in them, but don't trust them with your life!
If nothing else works, just grab something and throw it at the zombies!

Somtimes a random crate comes at the middle, hopefully it will have something useful in it, like a new turret or battery...
The next one comes sooner if you sell a lot of things with a high value.

This is not an easy review, but bear with me. It's a tower defense with similar gameplay elements like in Over Cooked. fill up turrets batteries and ammo boxes, make deliveries for money, use money to upgrade. Game "ends" when the players die. You can play it in hot seat and remote play. To start another player press it's interaction button, look in the settings for mapping/binds. I think it has potential IMHO, but it needs polish and a few missing things, like a proper game over state and a leaderboard. Zombies are easy to kill and they won't be hard even later, you can only set difficulty in the options. Waves don't get harder, there isn't any variety of enemies right now, no boss waves or anything yet. 8/10

CoWorker is a game that certainly needed a tutorial. This was a mildly ambitious attempt to make a restaurant simulator/platespinner game (you know the ones, where you have to keep all the customers happy and slap together meals as fast as you can). Except instead of a restaurant there's some zombie-ish asset dudes running at you that you have to kill. A platespinning tower defense, but with co-op gameplay. I mean I can see the concept would work if implemented properly, but this wasn't. It's a convoluted mess, you have to read the Steam Store page to try understand the game because there's no information at all actually inside the game. And when you do work out how to play, it's so lacklustre you realize you just wasted a lot of your time. Well, I'm here to try prevent you from suffering the same fate as me, your time is important! On the upside, the game does feature customisable controls and resolution, so at least some of the basic, minimum requirements have been met. Unfortunately there's a number of other technical defects and shortcomings which contribute to the game being difficult to recommend to gamers. The game assets are fairly mediocre/low quality, in some p…

Pretty fun once you get the hang of it, good if you want a game to just shut your brain off and play Only downside is the price, definitely not worth the $8 entry, I would recommend getting it on sale (I got it for 95 cents)
