cozy grove: camp spirit has the kind of gameplay loop that makes me look forward to checking in each day. there is always something satisfying to gather, craft, decorate, discover, or work toward, without the game ever making me feel rushed. the artwork is beautiful and full of personality, but the writing is what makes the game shine. the characters are funny, strange, complicated, and compelling, and their stories give all of the daily tasks a real sense of purpose. even the smaller bits of dialogue feel thoughtful and carefully written. I would especially recommend it to players who enjoy gentle routines: collecting and arranging, gradual progression, character-driven stories... it is a cozy game, but not an empty or overly sugary one—there is a lot of humor, melancholy, warmth, and *big feelings* at its heart.2 found this helpful
Item one! Got this game as a gift. Item two! I'm a couple hours in and that first word in the name should be underlined a couple times. I'm still figuring things out, but so far this is a real goth squishmallow of a game. In it I mostly run around doing odd jobs to cheer up dead bears. Dead square bears. Dead squears. Worth a look, if that sounds at all appealing.1 found this helpful
I have played both this and the previous game and its DLC. They are the most chill addictive games I have ever played. The fact that you are limited to a certain amount of progress per IRL day is a great mechanic. Makes you really savor the game. I use it like a morning cup of coffee.

A great continuation to the game. I love all of the old and new mechanics. And as always the story is great.
I have been having so much fun with this game so far. I am always a little worried with sequels that there will not be enough changes made to make the game feel new and unique but I the new story, new tools, new materials, and new mechanics have all been very fresh and fun. Theres also a couple of small quality of like improvements to make the tools easier to aim and use and its made the game feel much more natural. Overall I think its a great sequel that adds enough to the game to be worth picking up while keeping all the charm of the original. I am very happy with my purchase and I will definitely be putting in a ton more hours.
