A simple tower defense with ten stages to beat to unlock endless mode, but limited towers and content make the experience feel small and unfinished. The game begins with a world map and ten levels that must be completed in order. There’s no story or larger goal driving the experience. Your only real objective is to clear all the stages and unlock the final endless mode. Before that, however, you go through a short tutorial level that explains the basics. It follows the familiar template of standard tower defense games, so anyone who has played the genre before shouldn’t have trouble picking it up. The goal in each stage is simple: stop enemies from reaching the other end of the map or your base. Every enemy that slips through costs you one heart, and when you run out, the stage ends in failure. Entry points for enemies are clearly marked, and there can be several of them on a map. Each one also shows a timer indicating when the next enemy will spawn, which means there are no sudden surprises. Defense is handled by placing towers on predetermined nodes across the map. This removes the freedom to position them wherever you want, limiting placement to specific spots. Money is anoth…5 found this helpful
Crabby Fishes reminds me a lot of Bloons TD6, the most popular TD that I can't stand. I actually played this longer than Bloons 6, so I'd consider it better. Fast paced, although I'm more of a slow paced strategic type of TD player, although light strategy is involved in Crabby Fishes. This one is for the masses. Trust me, 90% of gamers will love this. Towers are upgradeable and you place the towers on the red buttons while receiving currency to clean up trash. Colorful, great hand drawn characters and maps that remind me of Saturday cartoons from the old days. If you enjoy Bloons TD6, you'll enjoy this TD. https://steamcommunity.com/groups/towerdefensegamesrated2 found this helpful
Their first game with a lot of promise. It has already proved to be pretty good TD title. Awaiting patiently for what they have in store for us. :)2 found this helpful
Fun and fast-paced tower defense that's an ocean-themed cousin of Kingdom Rush. The hand-drawn sea creatures have personality and the in-game music is often off the funk chart. It successfully captures that 'hanging on for dear life and just making it' which is a hard thing for TD games to balance right. Could be a bit longer but there's replay value to unlocking all the towers/specials and an endless mode.1 found this helpful
