Deep Ocean Rush

[h1]A casual wave defending game, with some issues[/h1] I'm really on the verge with this game, but because of several problems, I am leaning towards negative recommendation. In [i]Deep Ocean Rush[/i], some monstrous sea creatures are attacking the hovel of Tom & Jerry (yup), two crafty little guys. No matter, they have built a cannon, with which to shoot the monsters. Don't let them past you! [h1]Casual but kinda cool[/h1] Shooting's pretty fun but it's initially slow and also inaccurate: the shots do not hit the spot you click, instead falling a bit short. Targeting is thus incredibly cumbersome. Fortunately, you can buy an assortment of upgrades. Beside shooting speed, damage and area-of-effect (which makes targeting slightly easier), there's a homing missile tower, a tesla coil, and a bunch of randomly operating special buffs, like stuns, multi-shots etc. It's pretty cool, and in some levels you can do fine with just the towers. It gets repetitive soon though. New enemies are introduced every few levels. First ones are faster, but then they just get tankier - they don't even inflict more damage if they get past you. Deep Ocean Rush is a 2D mobile app tier tower defense game that's been slapped together with the godawful GameMaker Studio video game construction kit from Yoyogames. It's a very bare bones TD game where you have a single tower, and must click on the screen to destroy enemies as they march towards you, a bit like Defender from the arcades, only with less depth or interest. It's apparent this was an attempt to make a cheap ripoff of Kingdom Rush in the hopes someone would get confused and buy this by mistake (hopefully nobody makes that error). It's obvious it was designed to be a mobile app, but understandably the app stores wouldn't accept this lazy ripoff due to the terribly poor quality. Gameplay itself is very bad, mostly because of the practically zero UI... you click, but it's unclear if the game registered it or if your click was on target, so that's really annoying should anyone take this game seriously enough to try to play it. Again, I hope nobody makes that error. On a technical basis, the full screen mode doesn't seem to work properly, I was only able to play the game in windowed mode, so there's another reason not to touch this. In appearance, everything is taken from Kingdom Rush. And it is full of problems many bugs. If they had tried more it would be interesting.

Generic, no difference in enemies, apart from health, crashes alot, achivements does not trigger this was a minimal effort crash grab, not even worth it at 39 cents

Made it past level 100 and found the secret ending of the game
