If you enjoy dinosaurs, horror, or Metroidvania games, this one is definitely for you! The game creates an eerie atmosphere that effectively builds tension, especially with its limited in-game resources. There is a good variety of enemies, and the boss fights are intense. However, there were missed opportunities in some aspects. For instance, different types of raptors could have been featured in their respective regions, such as polar-colored raptors in the snowy area. My biggest issue is that the game has bugs in certain areas. There was one area I couldn't access despite having everything to proceed forward and some of these bugs prevent me from progressing unless I quit and restart the game. Despite these issues, I still recommend this game! (4/5)

Creatures of War is a side-scrolling survival horror game in which you play as a government agent sent to Ko'Verest Island. Your mission is to rescue the son of the U.S. president, who was part of a tour group that made the unfortunate choice to land on the island. The local government denies the island's existence, and, reminiscent of a famous movie from the 90s, it is filled with dinosaurs, much like in Jurassic Park. The president's son has gone missing, prompting the U.S. government to send an initial team, known as Delta Squad, which consists of eight elite operatives, to the island for reconnaissance and to rescue him. However, upon landing, all communication with Delta Squad was lost the last known audio heard was gunfire. That’s where you come in, Mike, from Charlie Squad. Your mission is to rescue the president's son and uncover the fate of Delta Squad. You infiltrate the island on a jet ski, armed only with a pistol and a flashlight—much like Leon Kennedy. It's amusing that, as a solo operative conducting an infiltration, you wouldn't have some additional weapons. It seems Mike must have been in a hurry and forgot to pack extra firearms. As you explore the island, you b…

I received the game for free from the devs, and I had been really excited to try to it out since I love games involving dinosaurs no matter how much they freak me out. I wish I could leave a mixed review instead of yes/no because the game was honestly really fun aside from the bug. The side movement took me a bit to get used to, but I really enjoyed it other than the bug listed below. One bug I encountered, or I assume it's a bug, just shortly after the first shop in the compound. I could go up the ropes, but could descend them,
so I got stuck on the top floor where the toucans and two raptors attack you
. Due to their only being one save, I couldn't go back and load a save before I had went up the rope to try the
zipline that's outside the building leading to the third floor
, which made it impossible for me to advance beyond the first 30 minutes of the game without starting completely over. I did try to leave the game and come back in, but nothing fixed it.

This game was fun, an excellent side scrolling shooter with plenty of weapons and crazy dinosaurs to face! Did run into a few minor glitches here and there but nothing a quick reload didn't fix. For $15 it's worth the price and hopefully the developer makes more!

Nope, I'll try to give it a yes but nah - You explore and then you die, you need to start over again because auto save t occurs at a specific point - Elevator bugs - Worst save point in decade, we need to wait the tram to open every time - No inventory and character upgrades - Dinosaurs spawn out of nowhere - The most annoying thing is jumping can't cancel in the air - Slow movement when using rope or ladder, especially sliding down All of these really make the game annoying but I finished it because I expected something but nothing impresses me except the art style. Since we've rarely seen dino horror titles. I'm hoping for the next installment but without all above.
