Creepy Pizza Arcade

Creepy Pizza Arcade is a collection of 3 2D retro pixel minigames based around a podcost with a relatively small number of followers. The podcast is orientated around supernatural and unusual events, but the arcade inspired minigames have no bearing on that, and are instead just a collection of in-jokes. Taking this seriously as a game, it has no merits for gamers, with no functional full screen mode, locked resolution, no widescreen support, and lazy 2D retro pixel "art" used due to lack of talent/budget to produce a game that would meet contemporary standards. Instead, it seems like the developers here just wanted to spend $100 polluting the Steam marketplace with their in-jokes, so they could have a laugh about it or something. Steam is for PC games, not in-jokes/advertisements for podcasts. Because this has no merit as a serious video game, I can't recommend it, even for free.

This game is truly horrible, but......... it has Zoltar Speaks and it's free. I'll be the 10th review, so now this game will be seen by the public Steam searchers. The Zoltar Speaks dressed in a pizza boy outfit made my day. It's actually worth a download to drop coins in the Zoltar game called Pizzar. The only issue is you can't go full screen. I love Zoltar. Bring back Zoltar.
