putting a screen covering damage feedback on getting hit with gas right before a death pit two minutes in your game is kinda dickish dude, especially since were all trained to run through deadly gas so we dont get hurt by it makin the chances even higher of falling in the pit and also you just finished giving us the tutorial message how to run. i just feel like youre playing games with my heart, bruh. makes me sad.

Однако, даже в текущем виде, 'Cthulhu: Death Escape' дарит незабываемый опыт для поклонников творчества Лавкрафта и жанра хоррор. С нетерпением жду финальную версию!

"Cthulhu: Death Escape / 克苏鲁:死亡逃脱 Prototype" is not a game. It's an advertisement for a product called "Remnants of R'lyeh". Remnants of R'lyeh is a Chinese asset flip looking first person adventure as once more amateur developers exhume the corpse of HP Lovecraft in an attempt to abuse and worsen his legacy with another godawful fan-fiction. Given this advertisement is three years old, it seems highly unlikely the developers are going ahead with stealing HP Lovecrafts works and making some kind of asset flip looking thing out of them. Good. But this isn't completely relevant because this is not Remnants of R'lyeh, it's just an advertisment for it, so it's not correct to try to review that completely distinct product. We must instead review this for what it is... an advertisement. If you enjoy advertisements, you can consume them for free on the web or on Youtube without needing to add them to your game library, download them, and then launch the advertising. It's impossible in a general sense to recommend people should do that over playing real, full games on Steam, and that applies here with "Cthulhu: Death Escape / 克苏鲁:死亡逃脱 Prototype" too.
