Cyberpunk Fighting

Cyberpunk Fighting is yet another construction kit template copy+paste from serial shovelware pushers, LTZinc. These guys (or just one guy flipping accounts to mislead gamers) do nothing but copy premade game templates and game tutorials, fill out a few things/stamp out basic levels using the construction kit templates, slap on an asset flipped set of sprites/assets, and dump them on Steam and into DailyIndieGame bundles as cash grabs. Trying to get paid for someone else's game templates, assets... at best, this is shovelware, at worst, it's a scam/cash grab. It seems that unfortunately LTZInc lost their copy of the Raycaster Game Maker (they usually just fill out the templates in that consruction kit to make Wolfenstein 3D ripoffs), and have discovered the blight against gaming that is RPG Maker. Cyberpunk Fighting is one of hundreds of low effort retro-pixel RPG Maker asset/construction kit flips spamming the Steam catalog, made with the RPG Maker video game construction kit... in their own words, "Our easy to use tools are simple enough for a child." Personally, I liked the game. Despite the fact that there are few bugs in it, it leaves a good impression of itself.

Cyberpunk Fighting is an unusual 2D adventure game with fighting game elements.

This is an attempt to fill a space in the RPG niche market since there's no JRPG cyberpunk game at the moment, which would be a really cool area to explore. Instead of magic, you'd have typical cyberpunk skills, like magnetic amplifiers or ICE pickers. I bought it to see what cyberpunk elements would be in it. Unfortunately, it was rushed without any serious QA. It has a simple narrative, dry assets, and flawed gameplay. It is imperfection galore with many glaring flaws like walls not having proper collision, but little trash tiles on the ground having collision, fantasy music still playing, battle menu options repeating, chests not displaying correct animation after opening, and above all, a game ending crash error that did not allow me to continue after defeating the third enemy. Since it was only $0.99, my impression is that this was rushed to market to test out market response. To the developer, or anyone with programming skills happening on this comment, there's a raw gem here that just needs time and effort to make it truly shine and set it apart. This could become a series for $10 or $15 a pop which I would gladly pay.
