About Cyberside Picnic
Cyberside Picnic is a eulogy for the cyberian commonplace that just eluded us. A love letter to a lost future of alternative video games, delete and overwrite.
You play as a worker tasked with maintaining and assessing the efficiency of 2ELLIOT, Arteon Corporation's flagship AI behind its best digital media algorithm. Splintering and reconfiguring a decaying library of video games, you explore the fragmented terrain of our collective cyberspace through conversations with your responsibility and your partner. Uncovering who or what is really behind this algorithm, and the trauma you both share by navigating a multitude of "updated" nostalgic games and shifting text adventures.
The game contains 8 chapters of a narrative plus a minigame pair, each offering unique reading, playing, and visual experiences.
Cyberside Picnic contains games within a game within games in this digital lethargy interlinked.

A simple game about the fact that you solve games one after another to find out the hidden truth5 found this helpful
I liked it, for I enjoy artsy things. However, I am a dimwit and am unable to grasp the full message. Game was cool tho.
It's a collection of intentionally bad text games and mini-games meant to tell some kind of surreal mini-story. There isn't much interesting to do here unless you happen to be a chimpanzee (literally). The bird game has kind of a neat aesthetic but even in the 80s it would have been rejected. If you feel like getting another perspective on computer games (like I did) try it out, but otherwise it's not something for most people.

The idea for the game is good. Returns to childhood. This game will appeal more to the adult generation than to children.
a strange genre. A lot of text. For fans of xassic text quests . I didn't play much because I didn't quite figure it out and I found it boring.
