In short, Dadish Collection is all three games of the Dadish trilogy in one game, with Dadish 1 and 2 based on Dadish 3... and very buggy There is nothing new in terms of content in this collection. The games are the same, but Dadish 1 and 2 have been ported to the Dadish 3 base and engine. Therefore, Dadish 1 has a convenient map, Dadish 1 and 2 has slightly different objects, more readable double jump animation, vibration support, and controller layout in the interface, as well as other minor details that were in Dadish 3. However, these changes are so minor that there is no difference between playing a game from the collection or the original game separately. I don't understand why this collection is necessary if it could have been introduced as global updates for the originals. And the collection itself doesn't offer anything new. Not only is the collection more expensive than each game purchased separately, but it is also significantly more buggy than the original games (at least on PC). Probably the first game I have bought at full price. If it goes on a deal I will be kinda annoyed. This game is genuinely funny, its cute in a chill way - not hard and not easy. I will get every Dadish Game. Dadish is life.2 found this helpful
The three original Dadish games have become possibly my favorite 2D precision platformers; in any case, they're the best I've played in a long time. It's one of those cases where I enjoyed them so much it's hard to know what to say. Unlike, again, a lot of platformers, they were challenging without being unfun, had hidden secrets without drowning the player in thousands of collectibles meant to inflate playtime without adding anything meaningful (this is the current biggest sin of 2D platformers), and had goofy, self-aware writing that genuinely made me laugh. There was a delightful absurdity to the tone that was well-complemented by the gameplay. In terms of play, it reminded most of Super Mario World, possibly more than anything I've played -- it was that combination of bright, cheery, incredibly weird (we forget just how weird the Mario games are...) and deliciously challenging. I enjoyed Dadish so much I bought the Dadish Collection, which includes 2 and 3, as well as Dadish 3D. While I did like 3D, there were definitely some growing pains for the dev in the move from 2D to 3D in terms of level design -- many of the levels still felt like 2D levels in a way that's kind of hard…1 found this helpful
