Dances with Butterflies VR is not a game. Games contain meaningful gamelike interaction and game loops, which are absent in this "art experience". Instead of being a game, Dances with Butterflies VR is a software application that presents a poorly made art exhibition. This is a lame art experiment where you're in a forest asset and you wave your arms around to disturb a bunch of butterfly assets. We get this non-game shovelware on Steam whenever your usual Starbucks barista/McDonalds frycook art school dropout finally gets a restraining order from the local art galleries so turns to Steam Direct to try get their art published somewhere so they can finally dream of moving out of their parents basement. It's true that games can be art... art is where the pinnacles of craftsmanship and quality meet vision and narrative to create an experience far greater than the sum of the parts. This isn't a game at all, and the craftsmanship and narrative are terrible. This isn't making art better, it's just making gaming worse. I mean... its cool. You get thrown into a serene setting with millions of butterflies. Good for a couple minutes of relaxation. But no matter how hard I tried I could not rip their cute little wings off!

Погружение в мир, наполненный яркими лугами, тихими ручьями и десятками порхающих бабочек, выше всяких похвал. Графика, хоть и не фотореалистичная, отличается приятной стилизацией и очарованием, создавая умиротворяющую атмосферу. Геймплей прост, но эффективен: вы взаимодействуете с бабочками, кормите их, любуетесь их танцем и узнаёте о разных видах. Управление интуитивно понятно, а VR позволяет ощутить себя частью этого хрупкого мира. Звуковое сопровождение, состоящее из нежной музыки и шелеста крыльев, идеально дополняет визуальную составляющую. Мне особенно понравилось ощущение умиротворения, которое дарит игра. Это отличный способ отдохнуть от суеты и стресса, просто погрузившись в красоту природы. Хотелось бы, конечно, больше интерактивности и возможностей, но даже в текущем виде "Dances with Butterflies VR" – это прекрасное VR-путешествие для всех, кто ищет релаксацию и красоту. Рекомендую!
