Fly of butterfly

"Fly of butterfly" is a very basic 2D side scrolling endless runner not unlike Flappy Bird, where you guide a pastel coloured butterfly up and down to avoid bad things and pick up nice things on a flower cluttered screen. Frankly, I've seen worse on Steam by a long shot, but there's not much here. Resolution and controls are locked, which pushes this below acceptable standards, but at least they didn't use godawful retro pixel "art". The game is supposed to be relaxing, but the sluggish controls are more frustrating than anything else, and there's no real point to this "game" apart from seeing how far you can go before you die. Whee. I thought the industry moved past the whole "Space Invaders doesn't really have an end game, just play it until the arcade machine breaks". While this is free, there's not enough to this that I could recommend anyone stops what they're doing and plays this instead.

A peaceful mess. Story: Fly of butterfly does not have a story mode to talk about, so we're jumping straight to graphics. Graphics: The best way I can describe looking at Fly of Butterfly is that's it's a cluttered colorful mess. That single second as soon as you start playing the game is an immediate "oh no" moment. It's genuinely impossible to comprehend what you're even looking at and for a game that is best described as an avoid them up is an huge problem, but I'll cover that more in the gameplay. Audio: There's also not much to say here either. The game is mostly silent, with only music playing in the background and honestly there's not much to nitpick here. The music is perfectly passable as background noise and nothing all that bad, but that's really all there is to talk about. Gameplay: Fly of Buttefly is an endless game where you control your buttefly and try to fly for as long as possible. It's like a mobile game where your goal is to see how big of a score you can rack up before you die and I love this genre quite a bit and I can safely say this is one of the worst ones I've played.
