Dark Eyes - Super Soldier

You are one of many, a super soldier trained to fight the aliens threatening all of humanity. Your name does not matter because you are just a number. What matters is what you can do to change the tide of a losing battle. The game presents this in a fun side scrolling shooter style with simple controls that require almost no learning curve. Your soldier can move left and right and shoot using several weapons. The machine gun is available from the start, and you soon gain access to a shotgun and a grenade launcher. All of these weapons use ammunition that can run out quickly. If you do not find ammo packs in the field, you must rely on a sidearm with unlimited ammo. However, it needs to reload, is fairly weak, and fires only one bullet per button press. Two additional abilities are jumping and ducking, both intended to help you avoid enemy fire. In practice, there is not much strategy involved. Ducking is rarely useful because you cannot shoot while in that position, and enemies fire so frequently that waiting for an opening is not enjoyable.
