ABOUT THIS GAME
"Dark Waters: Gino and the Witch of the Black Swamp" is a horror visual novel set in a murky swamp, on the outskirts of an abandoned ghost town. You spend three (?) days in the company of a witch who promises to prove the existence of magic to you, and are ultimately tasked with a choice that will seal your fate.
THE STORY
You are Gino Castallo, a young man tortured by his own mundane existence. Your off hours are occupied reading books about urban legends and going on expeditions to the sites of alleged hauntings. There has to be more to life than... this, right?
However, you always seem to end up empty-handed, and today is no different. But this time you stumble upon a swamp during the long trek home from yet another pointless journey. A woman who claims to be some kind of benevolent witch offers to show you her magic.
This is the proof you've been waiting for... isn't it?

The art is very nice and the witch's design is really sexy. The story is well written with dark twists that I did not see coming. So... Dark waters: Gino and witch of the black swamp man that is a mouth full is a kinetic novel that goes to very dark places. So you play as the main character Gino who is looking for ghosts in Florida at an abandoned place called blank point. In order to get away from his mundane life to which yeah I get it my man but along the way he meets a swamp witch. So he decides to head to the Hut with her in order to see that magic is real and certainly enough she does prove that's real and decides to stay there for the next seven days. But someone or something is screwing with his mind making him think of things he's never even thought of before. And as he gets closer to the truth you start to wonder is the witch really as malicious then she looks and honestly that's the best part of it it's never really said out loud if she is malicious. It's up to you if you consider her malicious. So the art style It's very soothing and pleasing towards the eye colors are used in correct order and when it goes for more of the intense scene it shows it. Music it works it's totally fine for what it is and when it comes to the intense scene it definitely can't rip you but don't expect a lot of mus…1 found this helpful

cute story, nice H, though infrequent & short-lived buy it for the VN first, H second
The story is fairly simple and short, but it does it straight and well with the themes of "be careful what you wish for" and "don't mess with what you don't understand." Also really does horror elements well.
Short and sweet(?). Only 3 sex scenes and a single binary choice so make of that what you will.
