Very lazy RPG-maker game when you are in the dreams of a guy who took LSD and is in coma because of a car accident Worth every penny (0).

got a mysterious liquid injected into my veins, went on a killing spree, battled other-wordly beings, and anime girls too. 10/10 free to play game, did all of this under 20 minutes.

A short audiovisual treat where design takes a massive focus over gameplay. As in, as long as you can click enter over and over, you will win. But you'll look at some very unique visuals and listen to great music while doing it!

Here is my review for Darold The Doomer: Psychedelic Lucid Dreams: This is an RPGMaker-esque game in which you play as the titular Darold. He does LSD, gets into a car wreck, and falls into a coma. He experiences a dream in which he must travel through four different levels until he fights the big bad boss. Each level is exactly the same. You meet an NPC who says "Kill someone", you kill that someone, then the game automatically warps you into the next level. Repeat this four times and it's over. The fights themselves are the most bare boned RPGMaker fights. Just spam basic attack until you win. There's no depth at all. I believe the hook here is mainly due to the stylistic choices for the characters. They are all just either badly photoshopped pictures of people, or amalgamations of random geometry. These aren't really creepy or inspired, they're just kind of weird. There is also $2 DLC, which I have no interest in paying for. Overall, it's fine for a 30 minute bus ride or poop break. But don't waste your time if you have more important things to do, like flossing.
