Darwin's bots: Episode 1

This looks very promising and well made. Unfortunately the shooting part was annoying far above acceptable level. I had a difference of up to 20cm between the real position of my controllers and their position in VR most of the time during level 3. I would love an option for "easy shooting" where the pistol is already unlocked and filled with unlimited ammo. Without this I can't really recommend the game, I do not even want to emagine having to shoot like this in a stressful environment...

The only issue I noticed is having to hold trigger and push down on the joystick to select levels on the menu. Some of the action happens behind you, so I do recommend a full roomscale setup. Plus you'll want to get behind cover and you'll have to crouch down. [/i] I got this on sale for $3.99 USD on a Steam sale recently. I'm surprised by the mixed review status. It's definitely rough around the edges, but it's a good game. I finished the game in 47 minutes and had fun. I did have to overlook the overall clunkiness, but it's different than most VR games out there. Even though this came out on March 2017, it's still one of the most unique VR games out there. So this is your cyberpunk shooter in VR that's dark and mysterious. It actually has a story too, but just when it starts to get interesting you get this one big cliffhanger and then the game ends. I think the first seven levels are just tutorials, but they're tutorial levels that basically has you joining this police force tasked with putting down rogue robots in the future. Good Game. Has a story and areas to explore, not just another wave shooter. Much cheaper than a lot of other games.

A lot of fun, even it still contains a lot of bugs. e.g. you can walk out of the elevator, or even look through the wall outside, Sometimes the avatar disappears. But, having an realistic Avatar shift VR experience to a whole new level. Would i recommend this game? Yes, i would. Even it's a little bit short ...

Short, but fun game. Robots are hard to kill; should be easier. Sometimes a little buggy. All in all good. I am looking forward to more episodes and a more in-depth story.
