About Excive A-1000

Robotization has reached a brand new level – now the robots manufacture themselves. Corporations build on the separate planets the factories, operated by artificial intelligence, and simply assign orders for the manufacture of particular models. Sometimes artificial intelligence recognises itself as an individual and runs out of control. In this case they bring the guys from the squad Exive to settle the problem.
You operate a prototype of an upgraded robotized new model combat complex Exive A-1000. Your task is easy –destroy everything up to the very last mechanism or the chip. Those who follow you would forward the left rubbish for processing. By the way - the robots know about your mission and have rebuilt the production lines to the military models – this mission is not likely to be easy. Try to stay alive in the new prototype- it must be tested under the combat conditions and not be turned into the scrap.
Game features:
- tornado rhythm, action, action and once again action
- 5 primary and 2 secondary types of weapons
- 4 episodes with 3 spacious levels in each one
- an old school style has reached a brand new level
- Pure hardcore. Not the tiresome complexity, but a gameplay , requiring practice and skills
- elaborated levels with an excellent balance
- original customised music tracks create an awesome atmosphere

Sadly this old school fps lacks any sort of balance and is a very rare case where I gave up on it. I just went till the second level and so far the levels are filled with mines, especially level 2. They are everywhere, behind every corner and every bush. The only way to destroy them is with your rockets but you only start with 20 of them and it seems you don't get more of them. The mines deals insane damage and in level 2 it seems there are no health drops whatsoever. And because, for some reason, this game does not have quick saves or any other saves except at the start of a level, you have to start over the entire level if you die. I first started the game on normal and died near the end of the first level, you simly die way too fast. So I switched to easy and tried again, then died multiple times in level 2. Also great, that if you die you only start with the pistol and you just get destroyed in level 2 if you only have the pistol. Great game design guys.4 found this helpful

Played it a little and it's cool. I just have a skill issue and can't get past some enemies.
Recommendation: Skip this frustrating FPS, or play the full game posted on itch.io. Critique: I've tried playing this several times over the last few years. Each time, I think: "It can't be as bad as I remember. I must have just been having an off day when I played it last." Then I play it and discover anew all the little things that keep me from really enjoying what should be a fun old-school FPS. First of all, the visual design is VERY murky: the first few levels are all uniformly brown, with mud, earthen walls, grimy trees, and muddy enemies. The items that you are supposed to pick up - ammunition and healing vials - are orange, so they stand out. Unfortunately, mines that explode on contact are also orange, with a very similar shape. So you're constantly getting blown up when you think you're getting ammunition. The soundscape is sparse, so you don't have audio cues for when you are taking damage (no "Augh!" or "Oof" when you are hit by enemy fire) and you can end up dying without realizing you were even under attack. The result of all this is that the game, which is advertised as having "tornado rhythm" is actually all about memorization. Play, die, repeat, over…
Good pixel graphics, and solid gunplay. Damage occurs too quickly, not even enough health pickups remotely. Seems ok, i dont understand the bad reviews, seems allright to me.
