A solid, well made roguelike with cute, memorable characters, fun dialogue, and satisfying combat. I love the little extra details as well, like the descriptions for items and silly names for the perma-upgrades. Most importantly, the game is straight forward, fast paced, and replayable, allowing you to play run after run in smooth succession. Incredibly fun rogue-lite for the price! Easy to pick up and play with simple combat controls - a button to dash, a button to punch, and a button to trigger an artifact ability - but with chasing mobs and bullet-hell like projectiles, it is difficult to master. Items, crystals, and artifacts provide lots of interesting and fun abilities that aid various kinds of build directions, with plenty of risk and reward. Interesting, colorful characters provide additional opportunities, risks, and touches of lore as the mysterious protagonist dashes and punches his way through to confront the bosses of each area. I find that the boss fights are fun as they get progressively more complex and challenging the further I progress.
A fun roguelike that lets you punch a myriad of different mobs, while dashing to avoid them. It has sustained power-ups and a lot of varied and fun items to enhance your runs. Over all the game is solid in the mechanics, gameplay, and replay-ability.
Dashpunch is a pretty fun game, your basic rougelike similar to games like binding of issac and.. you'll never EVER guess the mechanic of the game (EVER)
