This game sucks... Don't buy it Every time I die, I go back to the base and my character won't move... Have to restart the game or hope for the bug to stop which happens sometimes... Not fun and not worth 17$1 found this helpful
An excellent game with original gameplay. A few bugs here and there, such as buttons not responding in the shelter or the camera moving backwards when you try to turn round. The odds seem to be stacked against us, but that’s always the case in this sort of game. After beating the first boss, the game gets really hard and requires a lot of grinding to progress. From that point on, the game gets pretty repetitive. You just keep replaying the same levels over and over until you’re strong enough to beat the second boss, and then you have to start all over again for the third.
Yes, they could have done more with the upgrades and variety, but the core game loop is fun enough for a while that I don't mind recommending this at a sale.
While the unbalanced gameplay on the second area (I guess it will be better/easier when I unlock more stuff) doesn't bother me as much as others, the random bug of the game becoming unresponsive at the middle of a mission or whenever I go back to the beginning area (after dying) is something that should have been fixed by now. Unfortunately the last update was released last year and the devs don't seem to be active on the steam forum. Since the devs have a new game announced, I doubt that they'll return to this, so....
I tried really hard to like this game but, enemies just become more of a damage sponge the more you progress.
https://youtu.be/lwK1twJ_y9I Light turn based movement and combat is a snug fit with the run based gameplay with just enough ramping challenge.
