You'll play 120 Nonogram levels—each level has 6 layers of different colors to work on, resulting in one image that encompasses all of the colors. The same goes for the background, although you can notice that they are artificial from the simple animations. The Nonograms, though, were a letdown compared to these. The UI for the Nonogram table doesn't look as grand in comparison, and perhaps it's because the Nonogram images were made in mosaic (wh…15 found this helpful
Daydream Mosaics 5: Crimson Veil takes players on a journey through a world filled with ancient sanctuaries, enigmatic puzzles, and a captivating narrative. Developed and published by Lucaciu Studio, this installment continues the story of Juliette and her friends as they search for the elusive Raven, encountering various challenges along the way. The core gameplay of Daydream Mosaics 5: Crimson Veil consists of solving nonograms, also known as picross or griddlers. These logic-based puzzles challenge players to reveal hidden images by filling in cells on a grid based on numerical clues. With 120 levels to explore, the game provides an engaging and ever-increasing difficulty curve that keeps players on their toes. In addition to nonograms, Daydream Mosaics 5: Crimson Veil offers an abundance of extra content, including three types of mini-games: Spot the Difference, Jigsaw Puzzles, and Hidden Object scenes. These diversions not only provide a refreshing break from the main puzzles but also offer unique challenges that cater to different skill sets and preferences. As players progress through the game, they will have the opportunity to unlock stunning wallpapers featuring the gam…3 found this helpful
The newest DayDream Mosaics brings us 120 nonograms with grids around 15 x 20 or so. Not a challenging game for professional nonogram players, but the right amount of difficulty for casual players. I'm not good at this type of game by any means but could do all the levels without too much struggle and didn't have to use the hints or powerups, although there were 2-3 levels which were nail-biting. There are plenty of ways to customize the game to suit any taste, so play around with the game options to get what you'd like. Game difficulty can be changed at any time, and level progress is saved so you don't have to worry about dropping a level halfway through. Gorgeous graphics and a relaxing soundtrack, although I found myself shutting the music off after playing for several hours continuously, as the music got monotonous after that long. Every so often, you will get minigames (find the crystal HOS, spot the difference, and jigsaw puzzles) which all feature pretty imagery that you can use as a wallpaper. The background images for the nonogram levels are also very pretty and I wish those had been included in the wallpapers, as I'm always too focused on solving the grids to …1 found this helpful
Love these games. Keep 'em coming.
Let me start that saying that, despite receiving a free key (due to technical issues), this review will not be biased. The game consists of 3 chapters of 40 nonograms each; while solving nonograms, you will receive crystals that will be used to construct 1 sanctuary in each chapter. Each chapter takes us further into the mysterious story of the adventurers' mission. Graphics are simply PHENOMENAL: all the scenes, and even the costumes have so many details, including light and shadow nuances that make them appear real. This is the PERFECT game for those who are unfamiliar with nonograms and are looking to dip their toes in the genre: each level can be solved without hints and tools, but they are available if you need them. No guessing required in ANY of the 120 levels. If you need to leave a level part way, the game saves your progress. You can also replay any level, and the mechanics are simple and smooth. Each of the prior games in the series are also great, but it feels like this husband-and-wife team make improvements with each release. Now that I've completed this one, I'm hoping there will be a 6th!
repetitive and boring, was only worth playing for the occasional Jig Saw challenge, which were quite good but really not worth the effort
