Glass Masquerade 2: Illusions

First of all: it's really beautiful and a very relaxing game. As with the first of the series I still wish you could zoom out in the world overview to see your level progress and find new ones to play, that's a bit annoying honestly but it doesn't impair the actual gameplay in any way, so whatever. Second: after switching computers I had a terrible bug that prevented the game from actually starting. I tried all I could think of but couldn't solve the problem, so I asked in the discussions board (under bug reports) and got quite a prompt answer from the devs. After some back and forth (that took some time of course) it got finally solved and I'm able to play again without issues! Clear recommendation from me to everyone who likes the visual style (cause that's the best part of the game). Edit: I think I should clarify the bug was not with the game itself but the Unity engine - and as I said the support was quick and successful!

A very solid jigsaw puzzle game with a twist. Nothing incredible but a great chill out game. Very cool style.

Beautiful music, gorgeous artwork, fun puzzle game play! Toggleable hint system, DLC expansions, high difficulty mode, lots of replay value!

good jigsaw puzzle game

I really enjoyed the first game but I just can't get into this one. The stain glass graphics are the same pretty ones but the puzzle images are just confusing. I get the theme is meant to be clowns and dreams or something? But the images don't make any sense while putting them together or after. The sooundtrack is still nice. I like that there is now an option to play on easy or hard (easy being the pieces are already rotated for you) but if you want 100% steam achievements you'll never get to use the easy mode as 100% requires completing everything on hard. Hard mode also makes each puzzle quite a bit more time consuming. DLCs, as in the previous game, also don't appear to have steam achievements so maybe easy mode is alright for those. I'll try to continue with this game as I like jigsaws but I'm struggling to find the want to play it. I bought the remainder of the series with all dlc on a steam sale so I'm hoping the next game is better.
