About DE:VOID

A girl wakes up only to find herself trapped inside a world of many doors. Lacking memories and purpose, she can’t seem to remember who she really is, or why she is here. Help her find the way and uncover the truth of this world, but watch your back! Those closest to you may possess the real terror…
Escape from the mysterious world!
Travel through magical doors that will take you to various places. From a simple bedroom, a dense forest, or under the ground, these unique environments will affect both the story and the way you play the game.
Collect memory pieces!
Solve puzzles and obtain orbs containing the girl’s memories. The world might look like a void at a glance, but what you see is not always the truth.
Death is not the end?
The world of void is dangerous, but dying will not cause a game over. Your days will keep on repeating until you can find the one true answer. Help the girl escape, or collect all the bad endings if you are that curious…

Died three times in a row at the beginning of the game (first 30 seconds or so?) because I had no idea what was going on and nothing was explained. Two more deaths where I already knew I was going to die but the death animation was long and I couldn't skip it. Saving the game appeared to use a weird mechanic that was not explained either. The game didn't tell me if I need to use items manually from my inventory or if they're used automatically so there was a lot of trial and error for the part of the game that I did play through. I decided that if that's how the rest of the game is going to look like then I'd rather refund it. The art was really nice.6 found this helpful
A cute pixel horror escape-room style puzzler. Exploring different dimensions, piecing clues together avoiding dead ends - challenging puzzles & enjoyable creepy storyline. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Au_p80Jn4Ko4 found this helpful
I play this game awhile back and I thought it was an very intriguing game. It's quite hard to save all your selves in that game especially the one who stays in the lab. I tried so hard to save her. I think it was challenging IN some aspects however I love the story of it and I love the design of the game. I am still trying to complete the achievements in this game. Overall, I love it, and would 10/10 recommend it to a friend.3 found this helpful
De:Void is a psychological adventure developed and published by Eggion that leans heavily into atmosphere, symbolism, and introspective storytelling rather than traditional action or puzzle complexity. From the outset, the game establishes a tone of uncertainty and emotional tension, placing players in control of a young girl who awakens in a strange, fragmented world with no clear memory of how she arrived there. The experience unfolds less like a conventional quest and more like a descent into a fractured mind, where environments act as metaphors and progression is tied to understanding rather than conquest. The structure of De:Void revolves around exploration within interconnected locations that feel simultaneously grounded and surreal. Doors lead to varied spaces—a bedroom, forested paths, underground corridors, and other shifting environments that blend familiarity with unease. Each area is designed not as a complex gameplay arena but as a psychological landscape filled with visual hints and memory fragments. These fragments, often collected in the form of orbs or interactive moments, slowly reconstruct the protagonist’s past. Rather than providing direct exposition, the game…2 found this helpful
DE:VOID is a well thought-out and polished game with a mysterious world that is 50% horror 50% sci-fi. As you progress, it leaves you with more questions than answers (in a good way). You will encounter many items that will be put to use consistently throughout the game (along with a very unique game mechanic), so nothing really feels "extra". You will also interact with multiple interesting characters each with their own distinct personality. Puzzles feel fair and you won't find yourself stumped for an hour being tempted to search up a guide. Overall it is a very unique RPG Maker game that stands out from the rest with it's interesting game mechanics. If you're new to RPG Maker games, I would recommend this, as it has very fair puzzles and no overly difficult chase sequences with lots of replay value to hunt for achievements and different endings.2 found this helpful
