Deadblast Steam Review #111 By HyPo Jeanuary von Messerschmitt 2/10 Deadblast is fun but it's too short and it has a bunch of flaws. 50 levels and you can just spam the pirates a bunch and it makes it very easy and you get a lot of gold so you can spam a bunch of pirates. This is generic gamesforgames pixel art style they use in every single game. This lacks enemy variety like after 15, 20 levels you have seen all the enemies in game and they just repeat the enemy patterns which are random so ,it can be easier sometimes and other times you will fail. But this game get's way way easier after you unlock the pirates and it's safe sailing from then on out. One major flaw is your troops don't have HP, so if you place a lot of troops they get mixed in with the enemy troops. Which is a shame. This also has no story what so ever. You just play from Level 1 to Level 50 and that is the entire game. When you beat Level 50 it sends you back to the main menu with no credits or an ending. This game also lacks an opening scene as well. Something simple would have done. Now this is a more playable gamesforgames experience and somewhat easy but it's nothing special overall.
