This feels like a poor man's hidden and dangerous, but that's not a bad thing at all because I love this type of game, and I wish we got more squad-based tactical games. This genre used to be popular in the early & mid-2000s; just think of all the Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon games that came out, but the genre seems to have completely disappeared the last decade. I wish indie developers would bring this genre back, but they mainly seem to focus on co-op games instead.2 found this helpful
Hidden & Dangerous 2 from Temu. It's better than the first game for having bigger maps with better openness, thus being able to flank and move around more openly. The AI however is still equally moronic so that won't be necessary most of the time. This time the difficulty was spiced with sharpshooters that are tougher to spot, so you'll have to scan the fog as you progress. Your allies get stuck on things occasionally and you have to herd them when they glitch. In short it's a mediocre game and easy for the most part.1 found this helpful

Rather than placing players in the boots of a single unstoppable soldier, it asks them to think like a field commander—assembling a four-man squad from a roster of twelve specialists and guiding them through missions where preparation, patience, and coordinated execution matter just as much as shooting accuracy. The game’s framing remains minimal, offering mission briefings and historical context without attempting grand storytelling, but this simplicity complements its grounded, boots-on-the-ground identity. kinda aged but worth a playthrough
Its a budget game but a good one if you don't mind the jank but also you might need to adjust a lot of the settings to get a good frame rate
It always brings back memories of playing with my father, following English instructions we didn't understand at all.
