What is the point of this game? You wander around aimlessly until you get jumped by some silly little creature and get sent back to the start over and over. Terrible. Rating: 1/10

Death Lease is a compact first-person horror game that turns a seemingly ordinary property into a supernatural trap. The story begins with the disappearance of the protagonist’s brother, who was investigating the latest tenants of a house before suddenly going silent. His final message provides enough reason to enter the property, but the search soon reveals that something far more dangerous has taken control of the place. Developed and published by kezbobicus, the game focuses on supernatural survival, exploration, environmental interaction, and vulnerability rather than giving the player enough firepower to eliminate every threat. The house forms the core of the experience. Instead of functioning merely as a collection of creepy corridors and rooms, its ordinary features become part of the survival mechanics. Doors can be closed to create separation from hostile spirits, while lights can influence how safely certain situations can be approached. This encourages players to pay attention to their surroundings and think about how individual rooms connect. I died and suddenly I was playing pool. Wtf is this game

"Death Lease" is a low key asset flip, a bunch of other people's assets assembled badly to make a basic game, typically this kind of thing is done by amateur developers without sufficient budget, talent and/or staff to do the job of game development professionally. It's then quickly rushed into Steam Direct. And, unsurprisingly, this never results in a product with any quality, interest, or value for gamers. This is your usual run of the mill Unity asset flip, a collection of mismatched, crappy assets assembled to make a "spooky house adventure" with odd jumpscares and painfully bad, unpolished and incoherent gameplay. So, the game might look better than you'd expect from an amateur project, but this is because it's partially or completely made up of stock assets, "borrowed" from asset stores and free asset websites. Very little in this game is truly the creation of the "developer", it's just a bunch of rearranged assets. Not for me. Not fun. Not really that playable. At least there was pool.

i tried to have fun in the silly house but stupid little creatures i couldn't see kept sending me back to the playing pool and listening to bad music zone. can't recommend it.
